kamyu
Translator.

They start out that I’m in here, but…it’s not day or night. It’s kind of half-night, you know? But, it looks just like this…except for the light. And I’m scared like I can’t tell you. Of all people, you’re standing right over there…by that counter. You’re in both dreams, and you’re scared. I get even more frightened when I see how afraid you are, and…then I realize what it is. There’s a man…in back of this place. He’s the one who’s doing it. I can see him through the wall. I can see his face. I hope that I never see that face, ever, outside of a dream.

If you ever run low on stuff to scanlate I’ve got a handful of touhou doujinshi (yuri) that I could scan for you.

  1. Thank you, that’s very generous of you. Although I was actually considering focusing more on a certain project I’ve been neglecting for a while, before doing that, I was thinking of doing about one or two more doujin. If there are If there are any in particular you want translated, although I unfortunately can’t guarantee that I’d be able to do them since I mostly do things that happen to interest me, I can at least consider it.

I’ve already scanned a Reimu/Yukari book from an author which Wings of Yuri already scanlated two other Yukari/Reimu books from, and a thread exists on YP:

    http://safe.yuriproject.net/res/6161.html

I could also hunt down links for various books I have, and mail you, and if any book looks interesting, you could tell me?

Any certain pairing, or perhaps kind of story that interests you?

  2. Oh, I think I skimmed through this before. Those walls of text in the middle look a little daunting, but I’ll see what I can do. There isn’t one particular pairing I like because I like variety, but YukaReimu happens to be one of the ones I like.

Kamyu-san, can I ask you which pairings in TOUHOU that you like, hm :D?

  3. As I said, there isn’t one particular pairing I like. I guess the ones I like most at the moment include the common YukaRei and MariAli. There are other pairings like MariSaku and MeiSaku that I like too.

  4. Hello kamyu!
My friend pesu is kinda hibernated, so I’m out of stuff to edit. I saw you on voile dozen of times, so I thought – maybe we should unite for some (non-h?) touhou yuri doujin? On voile basis. You will provide the translation, I will edit things as fast as I can… well, you know the drill.
If you’re interested, just say so and/or write me a mail. I have couple of potential doujins in view on voile. AO, GP-Kids…
Well, if you have something interesting on your hands, I’ll be happy to help.

  5. I’m not really used to translating things for other people, but I can give it a shot. I’ll send you an email.

  6. Well I’m not really talking about translating something for _me_ personally. More like usual voile wiki-style work?
If you don’t like a doujin, nobody will force you to do anything.

  7. I meant I usually do things I happen to find interesting, but sometimes that coincides with what others find interesting, so I’m willing to give it a shot.

  8. Oh, forgot to mention. I got your mail. If you interested in something or have any other ideas, just let me know, ok?

  9. Okay.

  10. Hello!

    N3tt from YuriHouse here.

If I’m not mistaken you’re a member of Wings of Yuri.
As I’m scanning Vivid Full Colors I was wondering if I can use your translation for releasing it in English.

  11. I was a member, but I didn’t translate that.

  12. Do you know who did? Or do you know anyone else who could tell me if it’s okay to use it?

  13. If you search for it, it should say who translated it. I don’t really know how to contact any of the old members. Sorry.

  14. No problem, thanks anyways.

Hi there, I’m looking to help keeping ghostyuri.com up, can you help me with anything on this topic? Might you have actual contacts for shijima, site admin? I mailed several times, no reply, domain expires in march, i don’t know about hosting, they refused to tell me, so is there anything you can do to help keeping it alive?
I’m currently attempting to do an HTML copy of it but that’s still a bit problematic with all those unedited absolute links to solelo, the previous site.
If there is anything you can help with, please mail me(specified email is correct).

  15. I believe this “shijima” you referred to announced that she was going to leave quite a while ago. Your best bet might be Yurikai, which I believe is the reason that site still exists, though I don’t know if they’ll answer.
Also, in case you didn’t know, all the other translators and editors have been gone from that site for a while.

    Thanks, kamyu.

  16. Hi, Yirba here.

I’m not sure if this comment will reach you, but if it does, you may remember that we discussed ONScripter-EN on IRC when you were working on Amaranto. I was somewhat surprised and amused to see myself mentioned in the patch credits.

Anyway, I used to have your email address, but I unfortunately managed to lose it. (>_<) I've been involved in some interesting developments in the visual novel scene recently, and it would be helpful to be able to contact you if the chance presents itself to do something further with Amaranto. Therefore I would be grateful if you could provide me with your email address.

If you’re not comfortable with posting your email address publicly, please feel free to send me an email at:
    yirba (AT) spiderlilytranslations (DOT) com

    Many thanks!

P.S. Nice blog, by the way! ^^
